Historically, John Crosland's name has been synonymous with home-building. In 1987, Crosland sold its single-family home component to Centex. Today, we actively build apartments, condominiums and townhomes. We also develop neighborhoods for other builders and homeowners.

Over the years, we’ve developed more than 100 residential neighborhoods in the Carolinas, and we currently have over 20 active neighborhoods in our portfolio in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Virginia and Florida.

Our land development division is led by industry professional Perry Reader, and our company is filled with signature placemakers responsible for such magical places such as Celebration, Fla. Crosland neighborhoods thrive because they’re built with people in mind. These communities range in size from 52 to more than 1,300 homes, with prices from the low $100,000s to more than $1 million. These are inviting, livable places. They have open spaces and preserved environmentally sensitive areas such as Longleaf north of Tampa, Fla. or Bundoran Farm south of Charlottesville, VA.

We can’t wait to share with you some of our amazing new communities currently in planning stages such as Whitewater and Stowe Gardens.
