At Crosland, we evaluate each opportunity carefully to ensure it is appropriate for the Crosland signature. After all, just because we can build doesn’t mean we should.
We take our role very seriously in shaping the future of the communities we build. Whether we enhance an urban environment and promote a pedestrian-friendly center by mixing uses, or preserve valuable wildlife and tree canopies, we are committed to creating a sustainable future.
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a non-profit organization committed to expanding sustainable practices, Crosland works to create environmentally responsible communities and healthy places to live. Several of our communities are LEED® or EnergyStar™ registered, and Crosland has been recognized by many different organizations for its sustainability efforts.
Because thinking sustainably doesn’t stop after a building is constructed, Crosland has created the Crosland Resident Green Guide, which is available online to all Crosland residents. The guide provides sustainable measures which can be incorporated into everyday life to ensure safe and environmentally friendly maintenance and upkeep of all Crosland residences.
